Waves keep coming: technology, capital, narrative, war. None of them can be controlled, only caught or missed. I try to stay balanced enough to catch a few, and to turn a temporary edge into something that compounds: equity, brands, distribution, trust.
I invest in private companies in two ways. For later-stage rounds, I participate as a limited partner (LP) in project funds, gaining exposure to companies approaching IPO or scaling toward it. For very early companies, I write angel checks of around $10k, usually alongside operators and founders I trust.
Motif 3 is the highest-scoring open-weight model developed outside China on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, with a score of 47.

As AI raises individual output, more creators will run themselves as one-person companies. Nextgen is building the infrastructure for that shift in Korea, starting with the creators themselves.
